Holly Harmon was a public educator for 29 years before accepting the role as Regional Manager for JAG-Missouri. That teaching experience includes five years as a JAG Specialist at Aurora High School and Crane High School. In her new role as Regional Manager, she will support the JAG-Missouri programs in southwest and west Missouri.
Under her leadership, the Aurora JAG program earned the coveted “5 of 5” (now “6 of 6”) from 2021-2023 in recognition of the program meeting the five national performance standards and has achieved a 100% graduation rate every year.
Harmon has made presentations on JAG-Missouri, served as a mentor to Specialists, and assisted training new JAG-Missouri Specialists. She received the Outstanding Specialist Award in 2021 and 2023, and the High Performer Award from JAG National in 2022.
From 1995-2019, Harmon served as a Spanish and English teacher in the Aurora School District. In 2019-2020, she started the JAG program at Crane R-3 Schools. In 2020-2021, she returned to Aurora to start the JAG program at the high school level. In 2022-2023, she started the JAG program at Aurora Junior High School.
Harmon earned her B.A. degree in Secondary Education and Spanish from Drury College in 1995. She earned her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Drury University in 2013.
Harmon and her husband, Bryan, have been married 29 years and live in Crane.
