JAG Missouri is proud to welcome Brenda Haden and Michelle M. Hackmann to its Board of Directors. Both leaders bring extensive experience in education, workforce development, nonprofit governance, and executive leadership, strengthening JAG Missouri’s ability to support students across the state.
Brenda Haden brings more than five decades of service in education and community leadership. A University of Missouri graduate, she dedicated her career to supporting students and individuals with physical, mental, and social barriers. Her professional experience includes early childhood special education, adaptive physical education, and 25 years as a health educator in Mexico Public Schools. Following retirement, she continued serving students as a substitute teacher, including in schools where the JAG program is integrated. Ms. Haden also brings deep nonprofit governance experience through long-term leadership with the Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.) and service as Chair of the Missouri P.E.O. Outreach Board of Trustees.
Michelle M. Hackmann is an accomplished executive professional with more than 25 years of experience supporting senior leadership, boards, and high-impact organizations. Based in St. Louis, she currently serves The Dover Companies and has held leadership roles in education technology, investment management, and sustainability consulting. As founder of Industry705, LLC, she focused on improving workforce recruitment and talent pipelines within manufacturing—directly aligning with JAG Missouri’s mission to prepare students for career success.
